What We Offer…
Flying High, Buzzing Far Through Our Honey Bee Play Curriculum
Learners participate in our uniquely crafted Honey Bee Play Curriculum which uses play to encourage age appropriate learning targets for each class. These learning targets collectively prepare our little JACs for Kindergarten.
Health & Safety
We take Mental, Physical, Social, and Emotional health very seriously here at the Hive. Our goal is to promote a well-rounded healthy lifestyle from the start.
Mental Health and Safety
Children deserve a safe space to make mistakes as a part of learning that doesn’t damage their self-esteem. We encourage positive self-talk, engage in positive redirection, and promote free choice and boundary setting. Children are not taught what to think, but rather HOW to think in order to feel like they have a voice in their own learning and development.
Physical Health and Safety
Nutrition and Mealtimes at The Honey Bee Hive are essential in promoting language skills, life skills, self-awareness and social skills, as well as health education. As a consistent part of our daily breakfast, lunch, and snack service, we offer a variety of child-friendly menus with whole food and fresh food selection choices.
Children also deserve clean, sanitized classrooms, child friendly toys, nutritious meals, secure doors and entry ways, and trusted, trained teachers. We take every precaution to ensure your child’s health and safety. Everyone on our staff has up to date background checks and First Aid/CPR certifications.
Social and Emotional Safety
Children deserve environments where they can express themselves in a way that makes them feel heard and understood by others. We incorporate social and emotional lessons, teach about how to make and keep friends, team building, and self-awareness to ensure children enter the world as confident, competent, courageously compassionate Human “Bee”-ings!
